Eternally Ending: the inability to let go
Poem ~
Her heart was steeped in the depths of sorrow
there were no tears spared for tomorrow
there was no future in her view of time
she could not leave the past behind
nor could she face the here and now
no movement of time could be allowed
for with eternity, there is no goodbye
simply forever in which to cry
I have to tell you, I’m really enjoying your choice of words. They never fail to inspire me.

Very touching. While your poems this month are stories on their own, they also feel like good story prompts too.

This was very touching. Something I could relate to a lot. It does get difficult to leave the past behind!
