Vaguely Verbose: a cascade of meaningless words
Poem ~
Night and day
she rambled on
sometimes her words
were sung in song
there was no end
to the story she told
descriptive, creative,
and much too bold
but no meaning
could be found
to the endless array
of words cascading
in meaningless play
Definitely me at times!!

I really have been enjoying your A-Z playful poetry, Sue…..I’m sad it’s coming to an end!
PS. I think you are describing me here! 🙂

I know too many people like this and it makes my mind go blank. I literally hear static in my head. They’re nice but they just really like to talk about nothing.

Except for the word meaningless, this sounds like someone I know. I love the flow and feel of this, especially when I read it out loud. Very well done, Sue.

Thanks so much, Bill😊 I do have a tendency to ramble! Glad to hear you don’t find it meaningless 🤣 I miss our chats at the writers group.

I miss the group too. But, the poem certainly applies there as well. Jus’ sayin’.
