After the loss of time
came the realization
that there was no time left
to fill space.

The illusion revealed,
reality was disrupted as chaos reigned in the void.
Humanity slept.

Unshackled by space and time
dreamers
gave birth to new worlds
creating their own reality.

The dreamers woke as
artists, writers, poets,
philosophers, creators, and alchemists.

The sleepers declared them mad.

  1. After re-reading part 1, and then this, I immediately re-read Poe’s “A Dream within a Dream” (listened to Tom O’Bedlam read. One of my favs). This is very thought provoking and well composed poetry, Sue. Well done, my friend.
