Afflicted
by a flutter
of words
falling from the air
stricken by their
persistence
to be written
anywhere
ink on my arm
in the palm of my hand
tattooed with
wayward words
they fall
where I stand

I find a jumble of words sometimes appears on my phone’s notepad in the early hours. They are content to just own 4am. 🙂

The words are like puzzle pieces and I actually enjoy trying to figure out what they’re trying to say😊
