a poet’s words, descriptive, humbling, sometimes harsh like a mirror they reflect the poet's inner world yet, the notion of reflection, often rejected by the poet look closely, poet, do you not see your reflection staring back at you scowl not, critic, for you too are reflected in your judgment

This is so very true , my thoughts on poets , poetry , for me is a way of clearing the clutter in my mind sometimes negative sometimes positive but all a reflection of what’s inside .

A poem about the poet. I shall reflect on it. Well done, Sue.

I love getting your poems. Passed the last on to my girls. How are you both doing staying close to home I hope. It’s a good time to be productive. I’m trying to write everyday. Also doing some sewing. Nancy

Yes. I rarely judge my poetry, only sometimes it’s not ready for prime time 😉 Nicely done. ❤

My poetry is mostly personal and it is usually a release of emotions 🙂

another profound poem-we always relate judgement to our thoughts of others and recoil at our actions in that-ought we not be as kind to ourselves?

So good! That last bit shines in that way we’re always pointing out other, but other is also sometimes editor us.
