Poetry ~ The Passage

some say, the sweetness of time
is to enjoy its passage
yet i want to harness this moment
and not let go

the past wants me back
the future won’t wait
but here and now is where it’s at

oh, how i will savor

the sweetness of time's passage
with my presence

Poetry ~ Blurred

I am unable to focus.

It surrounds me,
chasing me from behind.
I plot its path forward.

Over analyzing,
I change direction,
but I’m unable
to elude it.

Immersed.

It is everywhere
and nowhere.
Constant yet elusive.

I obsess over it.
It ignores me.

We have
an intimate
relationship.

It is with
blurred vision
that I seek
and remain
enamored
with
the mysteries
of time.

“We blur the world to focus on it and blind ourselves to see.”
~ Carlo Rovelli, Physicist, on the nature of time

Poetry ~ Time and Space PART I

“We blur the world
to focus on it
and blind ourselves
to see.”
Carlo Rovelli, Physicist, on the nature of time

Once upon a time on this day in history
there was a dimension called time
time flowed on the horizon from
the past to the future
but then came the end of time
and humanity was freed from
this time
the next time
the last time
the first time
and of all time,
and lived happily ever after
in the here and now.
Until…
they ran out of space
to be continued, another time.

In the meantime, enjoy this time in a bottle, dedicated to my loving husband.
